La Buccetta B&B

The owner was kind and very helpful, and the area was quiet with good public transport. There’s a bus stop about 200 meters away, making it easy to reach the city center. Our room, which I think was the Fernandea, was small but cozy, clean, and had what we needed. The B&B isn’t in the center, and the lack of TVs in the rooms is the one downside, though I personally don’t mind that. Otherwise, I’d recommend it, especially for a short stay.

Claudio, the owner, was attentive throughout, chatting with us, taking care of what we needed, and adjusting things to give good service. Breakfast was filling, and we left satisfied and ready for the day each morning. The bed was comfortable, and with the air conditioning we slept really well. The room and bathroom were both impeccably clean and clearly well cared for. I’d give this place 20 stars if Google allowed it, but the limit is 5.

We had such a good time that we’d choose Buccetta again if we return to Verona. Breakfast was excellent, with sweet and savory options, and we could pick the time. The milk and coffee were freshly prepared, and the croissant was reheated fresh and delicious. The location is handy for both the bus stop and Porta Vescovo station. The polite, helpful staff gave us great advice and made us feel at home. They also cleaned our room every morning. Highly recommend it!

Claudio really makes the difference. He’s always around when needed, attentive, and very sociable. The property is welcoming and charming, in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from the city center. A great choice if you want to feel at home while away.
