We’ve been to Verona four times, and this was our second stay at Corte di Giulietta. We wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The Lavinia suite is quiet, spacious, and well appointed. Michela is an easygoing host who can make things happen in Verona if you give her enough notice. We haven’t tested whether she can do the same farther afield. Piazza Erbe is nearby, but the apartment stays quiet, and most of Verona’s best restaurants and just about anything else you might need are within walking distance. If you’re unsure, ask Michela. We recommend staying here without hesitation, and we’ll keep coming back.

The little touches made this apartment feel so comfortable. There are motion-sensor lights in the hallway, so you don’t have to hunt for a switch at night, and there’s a power bank by the bed, so you only need to bring a wire. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. We stayed in Lavinia apartment, with a queen bed and an expandable sofa, and both were extremely comfortable. Michela makes sure you have what you need: extra pillows, blankets, and sheets, a full fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen with pans, plates, cutlery, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, teapot, and microwave. The bathroom has robes, towels, a hairdryer, bidet, and all sorts of kits for everyone’s needs. You’re in Giulietta’s courtyard, which feels very safe. After 7 pm everything is locked, and you get a key for the main gate, building, and apartment. There’s also a lift and security. It was a bit cold when we arrived, and took a while to warm up because there’s so much space, but I bet it’s perfect in summer. It’s a wonderful place to stay in Verona.

From our balcony we could watch the tourists on the main pedestrian road, which was such fun. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a fantastic location. The courtyard of Juliet locks after 7 pm, so noise wasn’t an issue. It was hard to get my luggage through the courtyard during the day, but I’d definitely stay here again.

After 7 pm, once the courtyard is yours and you can come and go with your key and take as many pictures as you like, the place feels like fantasy. In daytime it’s like a fish market, but at night it’s magic, unlike anywhere else in the world. It’s right by the city center and two minutes on foot from Piazza delle Erbe. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a cozy, serene feel. The place had a dishwasher, wine, bread, coffee maker, Nutella, jam, and more. Michella and her wonderful assistant were the kindest, most hospitable people I’ve met on my travels. They suggested places to visit and even gave us coupons. Staying here felt like being in Cinderella. If you’re planning a trip to Verona, this is the place to stay.

At night, they shut the iron gates and let only guests staying in the apartments through, which made the place feel pretty special. It’s in the well-known Romeo & Juliet quarter, and the apartment itself was amazing, almost magical. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after that kind of experience.
