The location was great, and check-in was straightforward. We had no trouble communicating, and the host helped us sort out parking and offered to bring our bags over if needed. The room was small but clean, with a coffee machine and treats the host had left, including biscuits, croissants, tea, and coffee. The patio furniture wasn’t clean, though it didn’t bother us much since it was cold and we weren’t going to use it. The shower felt a bit cramped. Fine for a couple of nights.

The only thing going for this place is how close it is to the arena. The room was dirty, cramped, and offered no privacy, with a constant sewer smell that made us sleep with the window open. The bathroom was far below standard. There’s no private parking either. Public parking by the cemetery means a 15-minute walk across a couple of busy roads, or you can park on city streets and pay by the hour. I’d avoid this place.

The apartment’s location is very good, but the room was tiny, old, and not clean. The curtains were black along the bottom, and the bathroom was unacceptable. We paid 230€, but the quality didn’t match the price. The beds were so old that even moving made them creak, and we had to clean yellow stains off the back of the bed, which was leather. Maybe it works if you just need somewhere to crash for one night, but otherwise I wouldn’t book it.

Roberta is a nice person, but she doesn’t speak English, so don’t stay here if you can’t speak Italian. This isn’t really a hotel, it’s more like an Airbnb, with a room and private bathroom in an older woman’s flat.
