Residenza Borsari

A lovely boutique hotel in the middle of historic Verona. The host was super kind and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay! ✨

Luigi was a brilliant host, and the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The location couldn't be better. We'd come back.

The front desk staff member was courteous and extremely helpful, and the property is central to all the places we wanted to reach. It also felt very safe. We had a great stay and would recommend it. One possible improvement would be USB charging ports in the room. Thanks for the hospitality, and we hope to return to this beautiful city.

The room was a good size and the location was fine, and Michela was responsive, but the stay left us disappointed for what we paid. We weren't told at first that check-in had time limits. My husband and I arrived around 8pm expecting someone at a front desk, and hadn't realized it would be a fully Airbnb-style setup. The Google note saying "5 star hotel" felt completely false. Michela messaged us on WhatsApp at the last minute to ask our arrival time, then explained the restrictions, which made us uneasy. The keycard was left taped outside the door for anyone to reach, a serious security concern. When we arrived, it wouldn't open the courtyard's second door. Michela replied quickly and said it should have been left open, but someone in the residential building had shut it. The amenities were misrepresented too: there's no breakfast served on these floors or access to real services, and the outlets didn't charge our phones. It's basically an apartment building, which is fine, but the listing should say so. For a relaxed Verona stay, I think the money could go somewhere better.
