StraVagante Hostel Rooms

The restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and guests get 10% off. I’d say this is probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in: modern, with single beds, a great bathroom, and everything immaculately clean.

It was easy to get into the gated property with the room card, and we felt safe even when nobody was around from afternoon until morning. Before check-in, a kind staff member took our bags and even brought them up to our room. The room had a balcony and was in decent shape, fairly fresh, though a little dusty. The shower room was dirty and moldy, but otherwise it was okay. The location is handy, close to the city center.

We were exhausted, so getting into our rooms earlier than expected was a huge help. The reception staff were really kind and helpful, and the location is great, close to both the bus and train stations. The center is a little farther, but easy enough to reach on foot if you’d rather skip public transport. Our room was pretty and clean, with a lovely view and air conditioning, which you really need in summer. I can’t think of anything bad to say about this place. I really recommend it.

The one small downside is that reception isn’t staffed around the clock, so you need to contact them in advance if you’re arriving outside their working hours. Otherwise, I loved this hostel. It’s really clean, and the dorm doesn’t feel like a dorm at all. There aren’t those wobbly bunk beds that shake when the person above moves. It felt more like sharing a triple room in a 3-star hotel, just with strangers, and I had my own bed and an en-suite bathroom.
