We stayed for a few days last summer and really enjoyed the unusual setting. The property is authentic, clean, and well preserved. The building dates to the 17th century, while the apartment has modern features and functionality. The wooden bathroom is an especially impressive detail. The host was attentive and extremely kind. He waited for us until almost midnight, then showed us a nearby parking spot where we could leave the car using his free parking ticket.

A lovely, authentic loft that’s been restored beautifully, around a 10-minute walk from central Verona.

A lovely place, though I wouldn’t choose it during a heatwave. The air conditioning couldn’t keep up with the heat in such an old building.

Getting to the rooms is difficult because there’s no elevator. The last time I stayed, the air conditioner was broken too.
