The hotel is clean, the room is roomy and has everything you need, and daily cleaning is available. There’s a large parking lot and a restaurant on site, though breakfast is a bit sparse. For exploring Verona, it’s about 7 km from the old town and sights. Bus 41 stops right by the hotel and takes around 30 minutes. You can buy tickets across from the shop or on the bus, where you can also validate them.

Our room was spacious, and the hotel is in a quiet, peaceful area with free parking. There’s also a fairly large, well-stocked Migros grocery store nearby. I’d definitely try pizzeria al taglio ll Girasole, and I recommend the hotel.

A simple little hotel that’s lovely and very clean. The hosts are really friendly, and buses make it easy to get to Verona. Highly recommended.

I stayed six nights in Verona and chose this hotel. It isn’t central, but the value worked for me, with easy buses and a 15-20 minute trip to the center. I’d originally planned to stay at Gelmini, the adjoining property run by the same family, but I needed a mini fridge, so they offered me this room. I hadn’t noticed that my first choice didn’t have one, and I appreciated how considerate they were. It’s a family business, so they can make decisions for themselves, which I liked. The service was excellent. Elena is a wonderful person, always smiling and ready to help. The room was perfect, with brilliantly white sheets and towels. They tidied up and changed the towels every day, so it was lovely to come back to everything neat. The bed was a small double, bigger than a single. Breakfast was very good, with care put into the details and quality cakes, bread, and cold cuts. Even the napkin was a nice surprise. Elena makes an excellent cappuccino 😋. When I missed breakfast hours, she still offered me a cappuccino and brioches. Her sister and sister-in-law work there too, though I’m sorry I’ve forgotten their names, and they’re always very kind. Their mother is a sweetheart and makes the fresh pasta served in the restaurant. With all these women in charge, it’s no wonder things are so good, haha. I liked the family atmosphere. I travel alone and felt very welcome. The place was also very clean, and the housekeepers were friendly and careful. You do need to take a bus to get there. The last bus leaves Verona shortly before midnight, and taxis in Europe are expensive, so if you don’t have a car and stay up late, the location may be less comfortable. With a car, it’s perfect.
