There’s a comfortable garden for sitting outside, plus a pleasant indoor seating area. Upstairs, there’s also a large private dining room with lovely carved woodwork. The food is homemade local fare, and the prices are great. The pub has a German feel, with one-litre glasses if you want them, lots of bottled beer, and a good selection on tap, including German beers. The host is excellent, and happy to share useful information. Definitely worth a visit. Or four 😏

We paid €85 for a room, and felt cheated. The hotel had a terrible smell, and the room was filthy. The walls were covered in stains, and the floor was black around the edges and in the corners. The bathroom was dirty too, and the stink hit you as soon as you walked in. We came for a holiday in mid-August, but there was no air conditioning or mosquito net. The towel was dirty, and there was literally just one for the two of us. The most disgusting place I’ve ever seen. If they can’t provide decent service, they shouldn’t run the place.

The staff were really friendly, and the pizzas at the restaurant were very good. The rooms were clean, though they could use renovation. Noise from the restaurant kitchen and terrace at night made it very hard to sleep.

A good place to stop on the way up to the Alps. The rooms were nice, and when we arrived at 3 o’clock at night, the guy came to help us without getting angry. He doesn’t speak English, but we still managed to communicate.
