Tenuta Paternostro was a beautiful and safe retreat, a special place for relaxation and healing. It's set in the peaceful Italian countryside, surrounded by nature but still not far from Rome. The sustainable villa is stunning, with olive groves, a fantastic garden, and lovely terraces decorated in a distinctive way. My partner Jennifer, our two small dogs, and I had a wonderfully restful stay. The calm surroundings were perfect for yoga and simply unwinding. What made it feel magical was the community: sharing the place with our host Olivia and the Paternostro team was a lovely experience. The food was delicious, and communal meals brought together interesting people from all over. A wonderful mix of beautiful landscapes, warm hospitality, and nourishing food.

The welcome from the host and her warm, accommodating team made this stay feel special, and we can hardly wait to come back. The food was delicious, and the landscaping around the stunning building was beautiful. Inside, every room felt comfortable and thoughtfully sophisticated. Everything came together perfectly.

Watching the sunset over the wide, lovely landscape with an aperitivo was one of the quiet, romantic pleasures here. Olivia, the owner and hostess, has made this a unique place in Lazio. There are plenty of peaceful corners, and breakfast comes with a view of the sunrise.

It's quite remote, with the local town 20 minutes away and Rome more than an hour off, so I'd suggest having a car. The guest house has a homely, local feel in the countryside. The rooms are basic, but had what I needed and were fairly priced. The host was friendly and accommodating, and served a nice breakfast. They speak Italian, so brush up on yours or be ready to use Google Translate.
