Casa Del Parco Dell'Adamello

The snowshoe outing was the highlight of our Valentine's Day. Starting at the Roccolo Ventura refuge, we crossed snowy woods to the little church of Santa Giulia, then continued to the Malarsina refuge for a delicious, cheerful dinner. Afterward, we headed out again beneath the stars to Valbione and took the chairlift down to Ponte di Legno. The guides, Giancarlo and Chiara, were great. I hope I've got their names right. They shared lots about local plants and animals and showed us how to assess the snowpack. You can find the Adamello Park headquarters along the road through Vezza d'Oglio.

Chiara and Matteo were so kind and helpful, and they put together lots of activities for the kids, including the adventure park and orienteering. Both the students and teachers came away very happy. We spent three days here on a school trip. The location was excellent, the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the food was delicious. Service was fantastic too. A really positive stay, we'll be back!

There's room for the kids to play at Casa del Parco, which came in handy when the weather was bad. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is excellent and served in generous portions. Hospitality and kindness are part of the place. As a secondary school headmaster, I definitely recommend it.

We ducked into the natural history museum on a rainy day when we weren't sure what to do, and everyone enjoyed it, adults and kids alike. It's in the basement of the park building. The small space is well kept, with educational games for children and a collection of stuffed woodland animals, all in good condition: wolves, deer, roe deer, marmots, squirrels, badgers, foxes, owls, and more. The staff were very friendly. A must-see in the Alta Valle.
