We broke up our trips to Tuscany with a stop here, and it was perfect both times. Alessandro and his family are such warm, gracious hosts. Their place sits in an old olive grove, with gardens, a pool, and lovely views of the countryside. A really beautiful spot to get a feel for Italy.

The rooms, garden, pool, and terrace were all stunning, and this was easily our best stay in Italy. We only had one night on our road trip, but we'll stay longer next time. Alessandro made us feel at home right away, and was so kind and warm while we were there.

The father and son who run this little hotel know the area around La Spezia inside out and go out of their way to help. It's tucked into the hills, and we couldn't fault anything. Highly recommend.

With a car, you can leave it parked here and get to the train station in about 10 minutes for trips to Cinqueterre and other sites in Liguria and Tuscany. The B&B is in a pretty countryside spot among olive trees, just outside the lower town, with a great view. There's free parking, a small pool, and outdoor tables where you can sit and chat. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We'd happily recommend staying here.

Alessandro, Paolo, and Roberta made us feel like part of the family during our one-night stay. The landscape is beautiful, and the breakfast they prepared was really nice. We hope to come back and spend longer. Grazie mile for such a warm welcome.
