Hotel Canarco

We loved the balcony view and the simple room had everything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace cost just 4 euros, with fresh fruit, coffee, tea, buns, cheese, and ham. The beach is only about 3 minutes away, and the room was the best value we found in town for the quality and hospitality. The owner and her whole family, her husband, mom, and kids, were so helpful and welcoming. The owner especially made us feel at home and kept our spirits up. The owner was so caring and kept giving us tips throughout the holiday. Each morning she made us lovely coffee with plates of ham and cheese and warm cornetti, a bit like croissants. Our week there was very pleasant, and the hotel was lovely and tidy. The rooms were cleaned daily unless we asked otherwise. We’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in Viareggio.

Breakfast was one of my favorite parts, served from 8-10, with blood orange and orange juice, crunchy little breads, Nutella packets, butter, jam, croissants, regular bread, cereal, coffee, and more. I also liked having free Wi-Fi and air conditioning to pass the time, just remember to turn the AC off when you’re done. We’ve stayed here two years in a row, and the owner was really kind and seemed to love her work. There were four of us, and the price for 3-4 nights was great. Our room had a bunk bed and a double bed, plus a tiny bathroom with a shower, toilet, and bidet. We didn’t mind the size. In the main room there was also a closet, small table, and chair.

Such a warm, family feel here. The hospitality made us feel right at home, and it’s great value for the money. The location is very central and close to everything. I’ll miss you all. A la prossima!
