The beach was a bit disappointing in the afternoons, when there was a lot of sea moss in the water and some dead jellyfish. Still, we had a great experience at this hotel for our three nights and four days. Our room had a great view, housekeeping cleaned it whenever we went out, and the staff were kind. Breakfast was fair, and the air conditioning worked really well. Close the blinds (taparella) and curtains to cool the room faster.

We stayed in #202, a huge room, and really enjoyed the friendly staff and great breakfast. The hotel is right across from the beach and shops. I don't understand the negative reviews and would definitely suggest staying in Viareggio, then driving 30 minutes to see the sights in Pisa.

One side of the hotel looks out to the sea, while the other faces a wall and the hotel kitchen, so the online photos don't show what everyone will actually get. When I asked, the receptionist said the sea-view side was booked, though it clearly wasn't. It feels like there are two standards: the better three-star section and a worse, more social side where you can end up during a group trip.

Friendly staff and a nice breakfast, and the location is great. The room had almost everything, but it was small, old and uncomfortable. There isn't really parking. They can issue a parking ticket, but you can only park on the streets around the building, which are always extra full. It felt overpriced, though everything in the area costs about the same.

The room was noisy and dirty, with just one plug socket. The TV didn't work, and the bed was so awful I might as well have slept on the floor. It looked like the rooms were from the 1930s. I wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.
