The owners and staff were so helpful, offering advice on beaches, restaurants, and walks, and arranging transport and restaurant and beach-facility reservations. The cleaning was exemplary, breakfast was good, and the hotel itself was beautiful and quiet. I had a fantastic week at Hotel Massimo and will definitely return, at least once a year.

A small family-run place with a lovely atmosphere, and the people there were very kind and did their best to help. The hostess works with nearby restaurants and got us discounts. We were close to the main beach, local park, and public transit. Our room was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly during the heatwave.

I still think about the breakfast croissant. The staff were polite and careful with guests, and the view and location were amazing, really close to the beach. Massimo Hotel made my stay in an amazing city the best experience of my life. I’ll certainly return to Viareggio and most definitely stay at the Massimo Hotel again.

We woke up to a delicious breakfast buffet, and our room was clean and cosy. Hotel Massimo is right in front of the beach. I stayed there in summer, and it was the best hotel visit I’ve ever had. The staff were so hospitable and friendly, they really made me feel at home.
