Hotel Marchionni

The food was awful: raw chicken, undercooked dishes, and pudding like cement. The best items were store-bought and didn’t need any cooking. Our room had holes in the wall and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. The staff were angry and rude the whole time, sighing and cursing us out in their own language.

The peaceful setting and memorable beachside view made our time in Viareggio special. I felt at home throughout the stay, and the service was prompt and top-notch ❤️

The bathroom had mold in the shower and along the tiles, with an awful smell. It felt unsanitary and potentially unsafe. My room’s air conditioning was broken in the sweltering heat, and the front desk showed no urgency despite my complaints. I spent miserable, sweaty nights without sleep. Service was just as bad. Staff were rude and unhelpful, sighing and rolling their eyes at even small requests until I felt like a nuisance. The food was dreadful too. Meals were bland, poorly made, and often undercooked. Breakfast was especially disappointing, with no fruit or vegetables and tasteless cheese and ham. From arrival to the end, staying at the Marchionni Hotel was a disaster. I wouldn’t wish the experience on anyone and would tell people considering it to look elsewhere. I hope I never have to repeat it.

Pleasant atmosphere and very accommodating staff. The beach is less than a five-minute walk away.
