It’s about a ten-minute walk to the sea, with restaurants nearby, and parking was easy to find. We’d recommend it for a few days. The place has some limitations and the furniture is dated, but there’s lots of storage, including somewhere to hang towels, which isn’t always the case in hotels. Two very kind older people look after everything with care. Breakfast and fresh pastries were good, and cleanliness was definitely not an issue.

I picked this place because it was clearly the cheapest around, and for what I expected, I had a very good stay. The owner, a kind older man, welcomed us along with a barking dog. Our room was clean and cozy, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was small but had every comfort. I’d recommend it to people who are flexible and don’t want to spend a fortune on new facilities.

The new owners have shown no attention since taking over. Our booking was cancelled, but even after I called the property three days before we were due to arrive, the new owner never told me. I only found out once I was there, then had to go home and ask for the money I’d already paid to be refunded. She said she doesn’t check all the reservations.

The only good thing was the price. The building was run-down and dirty, the biscuits were past their expiration date, and there were mites everywhere. The staff were in their 80s, and the bathroom had a showerhead over the toilet. The electrical outlets didn’t work, and there was more besides. I’m sorry, but this wasn’t a stay for us, it was an experience. Disastrous, let’s leave it at that!
