The beach staff were courteous and professional, and the entertainment was pleasantly low-key. The beach itself is very pebbly right down to the water, which makes getting around difficult if you have trouble walking. Parking is spacious, though there’s no attendant. Our first room, on the third floor, had French doors opening onto a terrace shared with other rooms and no shutters, so there was no privacy. We asked to move and they agreed. Room service was good. The restaurant service was a real letdown: bread, water, or cutlery was often missing, and they forgot to bring out a dish even after we asked for it for my husband. We didn’t always enjoy the food, and most portions were small. Overall, we weren’t very pleased.

The family atmosphere around the property helped us make friends, and we’re still in touch with two wonderful families we met there. It also makes a great starting point for trips inland. We spent a week here and would happily do it again. Our room was spacious, with a large, new bathroom and a comfortable balcony. Everything was exceptionally clean, the food was excellent and they were attentive to food intolerances. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, and the beach service was hard to beat.

We first came here three years ago, after my husband found this peaceful spot for a summer break. Manuela and Luca have welcomed us back with even more warmth each time. They’re wonderful people as well as exceptional owners, always polite, respectful, and welcoming. Mario at the restaurant has become a friend over the years. He’s attentive to every guest’s request, and he’s much more than just a waiter. The restaurant keeps improving, and the chef’s food is amazing, really good and there’s plenty of it. The beach is clean, easy to reach, and comfortable. The entertainment staff are present and helpful, and the lifeguard is always there when needed. Highly recommended, a well-earned five stars. We went jogging on the lovely bike path along the seafront, and Sapri is also an easy walk away. Villammare is the closest town, about 30 minutes on foot. Our room looked toward the mountains, and our stay included beach service and full board. The food, service, and housekeeping were all impeccable. They can provide gluten-free choices at every meal if you let them know. There’s a ramp for wheelchair access and strollers, plus a little kitchen for baby food and broths that’s available any time. The entertainment is fairly unobtrusive and runs from 10 a.m. to midnight, with breaks. The music did sometimes continue until 12:40 a.m., though, and the dated interior and exterior fixtures meant the noise carried quite loudly. The hotel is on the seafront, just across the road.
