Corte Degli Ulivi

It was such a relaxing stay, and we really enjoyed the food. The views were fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough for us, and the cookery course was a lovely surprise. Walking down the steps to town takes about 15 minutes and it's steep, but not too bad. The bus back up takes five minutes.

We stayed a week and felt right at home. The place has a lovely, homely feel, the views are world-class, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was excellent too. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet and its fresh-baked bread every morning, and ate five of our seven dinners at the hotel for the quality and value. Huge thanks to our host Edoardo. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!

The food and drinks were so reasonably priced, freshly prepared, and excellent that we chose to eat at the restaurant every night. Breakfast was included and excellent as well. The hosts and team were incredibly helpful and friendly, and looked after us so well all week. We had a wonderful stay at this rustic, charming resort, with stunning views over Vico Equense and the Bay of Naples. There's lots of choice on the menu. It's a great base for visiting Vesuvius, Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast, and we'd highly recommend it.

The terrace view is the best in all Italy, and we loved how peaceful and safe this place felt. The hosts were friendly, polite, professional, and genuine. They did everything they could to help. The pool was incredible and shallow enough for the children, and there's a big trampoline, table tennis, swings, and space to play. We enjoyed the cocktails and wines at the bar while taking in the view. We ate at the restaurant one night, and its pasta was the best we had in all Italy. Our children loved the carbonara. Breakfast starts at 8:00, though they got us food earlier when we needed to leave early for Pompeii. It was delicious, with homemade fruit and chocolate tarts, bread, pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, local meats, juices, and more. Our apartment was perfect, cool day and night thanks to the air conditioning, and had modern facilities, a hairdryer, electric hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and washing machine. The shower over the bath was great, and there was a dining table too. It's a perfect base for the Bay of Naples. The only thing to know is that getting to town or the station means taking a series of rustic, uneven steps, with a steep climb on the way back. There are buses and plenty of taxis in town if you don't fancy the walk. We thought the setting, views, and limoncello spritz made it worth it. Stay here instead of Naples, which is crowded and messy.
