The coastline looks especially lovely at night, and the lemon and olive trees around the property add shade as well as something nice to look at. Il Casale del Mirto is a welcoming, family-run B&B in the mountains near the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. The rooms were comfortable and well cared for, with generous bathrooms, and there's a large event room plus indoor and outdoor dining space. It's a good idea to arrange a car or bike ahead of time. There is plenty of parking at the property, and a bus stop right by the entrance serves coastal towns, though buses run only once an hour. The staff were friendly and made me feel safe and welcome as an LGBT traveler. Meals are made on site, with many ingredients grown on the attached farm and wine from a local vineyard. Breakfast was included, with fresh pastries, fruit juice, and coffee, and it was all delicious.

That quiet breakfast overlooking the hills was priceless. It's such a peaceful place, and the food is incredible. Everyone was lovely and the welcome was so warm. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The dinners were fresh and delicious, with food grown at the property, and the view was spectacular. Such lovely hosts and a welcoming family-run place. A great spot if you're planning to visit the coast. Highly recommend!

The restaurant downstairs was good and handy when we didn't want to drive back into town, and our room was very clean. But staying here wasn't comfortable. The towels were basically tablecloths, so drying off after a shower was a struggle. The A/C didn't work during our three days, and nobody fixed it. I'd seen another review mention the same issue, but hoped it had been sorted. When we needed anything, we had to ask several people repeatedly, and it felt like nobody cared. At checkout they tried to charge me extra, and there was no compensation for the A/C problem. The restaurant also hosts events. One day the parking lot was full and I couldn't find a space. Breakfast was just a couple of croissants per person and coffee. I don't recommend it.

The views were gorgeous, and everyone working there was unbelievably kind. It's a family-run place, and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every day. I was genuinely sad to leave by the end of our stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Absolutely amazing, 100/10.
