The lane up to the B&B is really narrow, so you’ll want a small car. Apart from that, it’s in a stunning spot and made a great base for getting around. We loved our stay at B&B ll Casale di Don Matteo. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and Teresa cooked some of the best food we’ve ever had. She and the other host were both so warm and friendly. One of the best places we’ve stayed.

A car would be useful for reaching the area and visiting the lovely center of Vico Equense. Our hosts also gave us helpful tips on places to eat and things to do. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to their warm, attentive welcome. The room was comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. Breakfast was the highlight: homemade with regional produce grown on site, and the best breakfast I’ve had, even though I travel a lot. Thank you Teresa and Matteo!

Parking for a medium sized car is offsite, about a seven minute walk from the BnB. There are two restaurants within walking distance, and Vico Equense is just a ten minute drive away. The countryside setting is beautiful and peaceful. It can be a little hard to find, but Matteo will guide you there easily. The accommodation is large and very clean. And mamma Theresa’s breakfast is fabulous, all fresh from her garden and homemade. You can really see the effort she puts into it. My family and I would recommend it 10/10!

One thing to keep in mind is that the car may need to be parked a short walk from the house. This is a lovely family run B&B in the mountains. It was clean and comfortable throughout, Matteo and Teresa were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was phenomenal.

The garden was lovely, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms felt new, with lots of space, beautiful furnishings, and everything was very clean. We also had the best soft mattress of our trip to Italy. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place.
