Hotel Mary

We left the car parked when we arrived and didn't use it again until departure. The center, restaurants and train station were all walkable, so we got around on foot each day. The hotel is right on the coastline, with lovely views across the bay, local harbor and hills. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of good-quality choices. But the best part of our four-night stay was the service. Vincenzo, the head waiter, was fantastic, a true professional with an incredible manner. It was a pleasure watching him work. We'll be back. Thanks again Vincenzo.

The in-house restaurant made our Italy anniversary vacation especially memorable. The food was beautifully presented, high quality and prepared with real attention to detail. The restaurant manager and his whole team were amazing, combining professionalism with warmth. They deserve a 1000/10 rating. We also had a perfectly appointed room with an amazing view, and the service throughout the hotel was exceptional. A remarkable stay, and highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and excellent service.

The hotel is a peaceful haven when things are busy outside, even though it's close to restaurants and shops and about a seven-minute walk from the center of Vico Equense. The train station is around 12 minutes away on foot, with easy connections to Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Vincenzo, the indefatigably wonderful maitre d', and Federico at the bar for great drinks and excellent restaurant recommendations. I'd definitely stay again.

Vico Equense made a great base for seeing the Amalfi coast, with a small, quaint feel and easy access to activities. The team shared personal tips and helped shape our excursions, and they made us feel like family. Danny at the pool bar was especially good company and looked after us well in the afternoons. We were really glad our travel agent picked Hotel Mary.
