Santa Maria Vecchia Relais

The little church that gives the relais its name is lovely, and the nearby market had a great choice of fresh fruit, meat, cheese, pasta and more. We also loved the pizza place just down the way. Antonia, the barista at the local caffe, was so welcoming. We managed fine even with very little Italian. At the beach in Seiano, we had a great time. Water shoes might come in handy. My trick was to float out, turn around, then use my hands to walk backward so I didn't hurt my feet. This is a charming, family-run place where the care shows in all the details. The terrace at sunrise, with tea, castles on the hill and the sea below, was worth the early start. Parking is around the corner, and my brave husband drove. The walk through town was pleasant. We'd love to return, or at least recommend it. Enjoy!

The rooftop has a lovely view over the coastline, and the breakfast alone would be enough to bring me back. Everything was freshly made. This is a sweet family hotel close to Seiano train station, so I'd suggest using public transport to get there. It's a little tricky to locate at first since it's on the second floor of a residential building. There's no parking on site, but street parking is available and the host reimburses you for it.

Rossana was a lovely host, and her mother Ana made breakfast with so much choice. Her desserts were amazing. The rooms were spotless, and I really liked the décor in both the room and bathroom. There's free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, toiletries, slippers and a robe to use. The location worked really well, with a popular pizza place and an authentic Italian restaurant just a few minutes away on foot, plus a nearby train station. I'd highly recommend this family-run bed and breakfast.

The apartment had lovely tiles and metal stairs, and breakfast came with great fresh produce. We booked only half an hour before arriving. Some kind neighbours got in touch with Rossanna, and her dad arrived first, followed by Rossanna and her mum. They made us feel so welcome. We'd go back in a flash. Thanks for arranging the boat trip to Amalfi and Positano, it was brilliant.
