We paid almost 100€ for a run-down basement room with a bathroom that looked straight out of a horror film. The mattress felt decades old, with springs digging into our backs, and the AC mostly made noise without cooling the room. Sleep was nearly impossible. At 8:30 on Sunday morning, furniture being dragged around upstairs woke us. When we raised it with the hostess, she yelled and asked why we wanted to sleep at 8:30. We got no apology. Then someone pounded on our door at 10:40 to tell us to check out. We were exhausted, and the whole thing ruined our day. I honestly wonder whether the good reviews are fake or for somewhere else. The location is remote, and it took 30 minutes to reach Positano, not the 15 we'd been told. The roads are difficult even though I'm used to rural driving. We nearly scratched our car getting there and had to leave it far from the B&B because access was impossible. The village isn't worth visiting, which says a lot in Italy. WiFi didn't work in our room, and with no phone signal, finding our way around was hard, even though one of us is Italian. The hostess's lack of hospitality continued at checkout. Other B&Bs in the area welcomed us with homemade limoncello and wine, but here we weren't even given water. There was a makeshift minibar in a noisy fridge, water cost 1€, and we had no glasses. It's so cheap it's almost funny. It felt like the hostess cared only about making as much money as possible. A creepy, depressing place. Stay elsewhere and don't ruin your vacation.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the host was very pleasant. It's not an easy place to reach by car, so we left ours at the free parking by the church and walked five minutes.

We chose not to stay and lost €160, which felt completely unreasonable for this pseudo-property. Getting there was extremely difficult, with sharp turns and dark, narrow roads that seemed passable only in a Smart car. There wasn't even a sign with the property's name outside the gate. The owners and staff were rude, impolite, and, in my view, dishonest. They described the location as conveniently placed between Sorrento and Vico, but it's tucked among mountains and deserted countryside with no GPS signal or phone service.

It's at the end of a dead-end road, reached by very narrow streets. I'd recommend leaving the car in the free parking near the church.

Such a quiet place, with a simple, very clean room. The owners were top-notch, always helpful and attentive. Keep it up!
