Everything was fresh, and they paid close attention to the details. The food tasted great and had an experimental twist. If you’re after traditional dishes, it may not be your thing, but for a fresh take on Italy’s often conservative cooking, this is the place.

The location is lovely, and we enjoyed the drinks at the bar. The hotel itself, though, gave us several problems. They couldn’t find our reservation even after we showed the confirmation email, so we were charged twice. We should get the first payment back, but only after seven days, and we had to call the booking company ourselves. We also had to ask for hot water because it wasn’t working. WiFi was down most of the time, and the breakfast jam had mold in it 🤣. Our room was small, had no bin, and the bed felt a little too firm for us. At 200€, we expected a much better stay.

The staff did their best to make our stay lovely, and we really appreciated it. We had a great time, though we happened to visit while they were still reopening after the pandemic. We also got to meet Bobo, the friendly dog. Thanks for looking after us.

The hotel was spotless and beautiful, and the location worked perfectly for us. We’d especially recommend eating at the hotel restaurant.

Good local cooking, though it’s not haute cuisine. If you’re staying at the campsite, I’d recommend the restaurant.
