10/10
The hotel is really well placed, close to the beach and an easy walk into the old town. We were there for three nights on a Riviera tour, and even with two coach groups arriving together, the staff handled things efficiently. After staying in two chain hotels, this place felt like a welcome change. Our room was a good standard, and I really appreciated how carefully they catered for my gluten intolerance. The antipasti were clearly marked, so I never had to guess what I could eat. And we had a view from the window!

The pool is a good size and pleasantly warmish. Our room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to respond when we asked for anything. Food was plentiful and generally excellent. It’s about five minutes to the beach and ten to the old town.

We found a lovely patio above the pool, and although the bar is indoors, it’s close enough that it wasn’t an issue. Dinner was well cooked and nicely presented, with very efficient waiters. Reception was busy when we arrived, but the staff were friendly and got us sorted quickly. The room was comfortable and had all the usual facilities. Well worth a visit.

The evening meals were very good, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. It’s a lovely hotel in a convenient spot near the beach, with sun beds available both there and around the pool.

4/10
The hotel was clean, fairly cheap, and close to both the beach and city centre. Sheets and towels were changed every day, which I appreciated. But the staff made the stay difficult. We hadn’t been told to reserve a table, and after we apologized, a waiter kept blaming us for about 15 minutes and then raised his voice in front of the restaurant. It felt really unprofessional. Breakfast was stressful too. The cleaners kept banging and moving plates around loudly, right next to people who were still eating. It made me feel rushed to finish. Overall, parts of the stay were good, but the staff need basic customer service training. In some other countries, I think this kind of behavior would get someone fired.
