Garden Hotel Ripa

I was a little unsure about booking here, but that passed quickly and I really enjoyed my stay. Check in was professional and efficient. My room had been recently renovated and was cleaned every day. The only thing I’d suggest is improving the mattress quality. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had in Southern Italy, with a good mix of fruit, bread, cheese, ham, and other options, not just sweet food. Restaurant service was excellent, with great attention to guests.

The restaurant food was fantastic, and the staff there were very polite. Everything was clean, and the hotel is really close to the beach. The rooms, though, are very old and basic and need updating, so I wouldn't call this a 4-star hotel, more like a 3. We were told loungers had no extra charge, but weren't told that getting one at the front of the beach costs 8 euros per day. xx

The service and staff were exceptionally good, and I loved having a great pool plus easy access to a beautiful private beach with a chair and umbrella included. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good.

The reception staff were friendly and the location is quite nice, but we won't stay again. The service in the restaurant was so rude and unfriendly that it felt like our presence was bothering them. The rooms look as if they haven't been renovated since the 90s, so in my opinion this definitely isn't a 4-star place. It's quite okay for the price, though.
