We were happy with the location near the beach, but the breakfast wasn’t satisfying. There was no cheese, salami, or anything like that, just cakes, marmalade, and boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs were available if you asked. We stayed at Yria for two nights in September 2025, and there was no Wi-Fi in room 121. That’s unacceptable when they advertise Wi-Fi in the rooms and operate as a four-star hotel.

The cable TV was broken, and breakfast was the worst experience, with sandwiches instead of a proper meal. I’d give it 2 out of 6, one point for service and one for location. I’d choose somewhere else.

The room I booked wasn’t provided, and the staff downgraded me to a smaller one. It smelled awful and had mould. The grounds were rubbish, the facilities didn’t work, and the toilets wouldn’t flush. The internet was down too, which made it even harder to find somewhere else for the night. The staff were very rude. I’d give the hotel zero stars if I could. Stay away if you don’t want your whole holiday ruined.

We stayed at Yria for four nights in September 2009 and would happily return. The hotel overlooks a long beach west of town, and the center is about a 10-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet had a good range of food, and the one dinner we had there was very good. We thought the hotel was excellent and would recommend it highly.
