The breakfast deserves a mention on its own. The sweet selection was the best I've seen across roughly 20 hotels in Italy, with compliments to the pasticceria. The hotel has a striking atmosphere and an old luxury style that suits it well. Its grounds are so large it feels more like a resort. The rooms aren't new, and it's a bit of a walk into Vieste, but they were clean and maintained. Staff were friendly and professional, parking was free, and the hotel's own beach club is right across the road. A really beautiful hotel.

A highlight of our stay was the Latin dance class with Gilberto latino. His talent, energy, and attitude were amazing, and we loved having him there. Thank you!

We stayed at Pizzomunno months ago, and going through our photos for a book has brought back all the reasons we loved it. The website seems to have been updated since we booked, so we were pleasantly surprised by a few things that hadn't been clearly explained beforehand. The hotel is about a mile from the main town, which made for a relaxing stay. The beach is quiet, and even in busy August we could always get chairs and service. The pool is beautiful and was empty whenever we saw it, a lovely place to cool off after a few hours on the beach. Our kids loved the kids' club. That same team ran daytime activities like beach aqua gym, dancing, games, and music. They did a great job, and my three children had fun making sandcastles and getting face paint. It was a really nice included amenity that I doubt many other hotels offer. The grounds are clean and well kept, and the atmosphere is friendly and peaceful, with plenty of daytime activities to break things up. The beach restaurant is lovely, modern, and posh, but it doesn't have many quick lunch choices for kids. We often walked to other beach clubs for a sandwich or hot dog. The rooms look dated to me as an American, but they're kept up and very clean. The cleaning staff did a good job. Walking into town at night worked for us, though with three kids aged 5-7 it was a little hard for them. We never tried a taxi. Downtown was busy, but we had no trouble finding a table for seven. I'd recommend Pizzomunno and would love to return one day. CIAO from Ohio, USA!

We especially appreciated Camilla's warm greeting each morning at breakfast. She made us feel welcome and looked after us so well. The Reception team were great too, as was Andrea at the beach. A great hotel in a great location. Thank you!

I usually keep reviews short, but I'm upset that my chance to relax was spoiled. They don't seem to care about guests here. The custard doughnuts were very nice, at least. “A Star-Studded Misadventure” Pizzomunno is a five-star place on the sunny Italian coast, and its beach really was lovely. But the service was jarring, and the luxury promise quickly fell apart. The staff came across as blatantly sexist, and they wouldn't try to sort out basic needs. Worse, they then told me I was wrong to want control over my room temperature in a five-star hotel. The response felt like, “Silly woman!” They were indifferent and dismissive. See the video: apparently my room was 15 degrees, yet they gave me a fan because it was hot. They should have made it right. The amenities couldn't make up for the lack of respect.
