Nicola and his team made the biggest difference for us. They were so welcoming, and Nicola’s local suggestions led us to some of our favorite experiences in Puglia. Shanti also felt like great value. It’s quiet among the greenery but still a handy base for seeing Gargano and getting away from the busy tourist spots. The restored house and grounds are lovely, especially the comfortable rooms and bathrooms, with a great bed and a strong shower. Breakfast was packed with homemade treats and better than what we’ve had at many high-end hotels. Dinner on the terrace is worth trying at least once. One small note: some Google guest photos are old, so check the website or booking pages for current pictures. We loved our stay. Thank you, Shanti!

We already miss Shanti. Just outside Vieste, it’s a lovely, quiet spot, with beaches nearby and easy to reach. The owner and staff were genuinely friendly and took time to share tips. They even stayed in touch on WhatsApp, which was really helpful. Breakfast was delicious too, with local specialties and cakes. Thanks for everything!

We especially appreciated how helpful Nicola, Natiya and Ako were. The grounds are beautiful, and the surroundings are so peaceful. Breakfast had a great selection, and both Vieste city center and the beach are about 10 minutes away. We had a fabulous stay and warmly recommend it.

The food and service at both breakfast and dinner are what I’ll remember most. Every request was handled impeccably, and I had some lovely conversations with the uncle. It’s family-run, with a quiet setting and an easy drive to Vieste. I stayed here in May 2023 while in Italy and thought it was a great choice for any traveller. Five stars for the meals and service!

Shanti was just the calm break we wanted from the noisy city. We stayed for two weeks over summer and loved the gardens, the modern Mediterranean style and the generous breakfasts. Our room had views of the garden and sea, the bed was comfortable, and it was cleaned immaculately every day. Nicola, Nadia and Ako were patient, kind and accommodating with us and our small dog. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay in beautiful Vieste. We’ll miss the hospitality and Shanti. ♥️ GRAZIE MILLE!
