Villaggio Le Diomedee

The restaurant serves tasty classic dishes with a bit of a home-cooked feel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy, including the working pool, and there are activities for kids. I didn’t hear the animation, which suited me fine. There are only two washing machines, but they worked well. It’s right in the middle of a sandy bay, with several types of accommodation, from tents to bungalows. The houses by the beach look like the best option for windsurfers. I took off a star because there wasn’t any surfing equipment, though that may have been due to the recent Covid pandemic. I do recommend the place.

Getting there is tiring, but once you arrive it’s worth it. The grounds are well looked after, the staff are very friendly, and the beach is wide. It’s quiet and peaceful, and a lovely place for a holiday with children.

We spent 4 days here in wonderful sunshine and hope to come back next year. It’s a great choice for a beach break, with beautiful sand, sea, windsurfing, and pitches by the beach. The pool was spotless, and there’s sunbathing, tennis, and some great bike trails too. The beach cafe serves fantastic gelato, coffee, pastries, cakes, and canollo. Linda and Frank, Scotland xx

We couldn’t have found a better place. It was relaxing, and everyone was courteous and kind. The only shame was the rude dog. I found Irina’s wet children’s games.
