Villaggio Le Orchidee

We're staying at La Marina Bay for a second time, even though we hardly ever return to the same place. Being by the sea with direct beach access is the biggest draw. The beach is lovely and uncrowded, with room to play paddle or bounce a ball. The wind was what drew me here, and it's good for windsurfing, kiting, and wingfoiling. The cottages have basic equipment and sit among olive trees, flowers, and bushes. We especially liked the renovated, very clean bathroom, window screens, and the roomy terrace or entry area where we spent most of our time and left our beach gear. Restaurants and a shop are walkable, and there are sun loungers, table tennis, and a grill beside the house. The owners are very friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone after peace, nature, beach walks, and a chance to rest.

The beach is only a few steps from the houses, which are small but comfortable and well equipped. We had almost two lovely weeks at La Marina Bay and would recommend it to anyone.

These comfortable beach houses work for two people, or at most three. They're right on the beach, though there's no private beach. Several beach establishments are there, so you can pick the one you prefer.

We finished a lovely stay in this quiet village among olive trees. The clean, well-kept villa had a veranda where we ate, and using the barbecue was a nice extra. A beautiful, well-maintained beach is just steps away, with an umbrella, sun lounger, and deckchair in a reserved area, which was a real treat. Near the beach there's a bar, greengrocer, and market, plus a cart selling fresh fish each morning for a couple of hours or so. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.
