Casa Nina'

A pleasant place, though getting around takes some planning. You need to know where to buy the bus tickets for the trip there and the return. A taxi costs at least €20 each way if you don’t take the bus, and can cost more. Breakfast isn’t included, and there aren’t places nearby to buy meals. There is a machine where you can get water and coffee cheaply.

We left and are now waiting for a refund. I told them I was pregnant, so mold was a health concern, but there were no apologies or explanation. When we reported what we found, we were told someone would come that evening. Nobody showed up. They said the black mold was condensation and blamed the ants on us having the windows open. But the ants were coming through gaps around the balcony door, not the windows. There were dead mosquitoes, mold on the walls, and ants in the room. At first, they were also late opening the door. It was terrible.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and attractive, and everything was clean when we arrived. Parking was convenient. But a few things about how the property is organized surprised us. Breakfast costs extra, despite what some other reviews may say, and although the rooms are tidy on arrival, they aren’t cleaned during the stay. There were only two coat hangers in the room, so a few more would help.

From the elevated spot near Vietri, the rooms stay cool even in the height of summer, and ours looked out over the sea. It was fresh and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner was kind and helpful. A wonderful place, and I’ll definitely come back.
