For €750, we spent four nights in the worst hotel I can imagine. The room was badly maintained and smelled moldy. Mold had actually fallen from the kitchen ceiling onto the counter. The windows were tiny and oppressive, like prison windows. I’m 172 cm tall, and the steep stairs and low ceiling upstairs meant I had to crouch in several places. I kept hitting my head in the cramped shower too. When I arrived, the owner saw my first comment and made me delete it, but offered no compensation. This is my honest, updated review. If you’re taller than 150 cm, take note.

Mimmo keeps this wonderful property in meticulous shape and is always attentive and available for whatever guests need. It sits among greenery, where the sounds of nature are a real lift for body and mind. The historic center of Vietri is just steps away, and the beach is right there too. There’s parking and every amenity you could want. Five stars don’t feel like enough, I’d give it ten. Highly recommend.

We decided on Vietri at the last minute on New Year’s Eve morning, and found Mr. Nicola through Google Maps. He was available right away, and his kindness and professionalism really stood out. The property has a gate and easy parking, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot nearby. Inside, a warm room was waiting for us after the chilly weather. Mr. Nicola had set aside a bright, welcoming quadruple room for my family, and best of all, it was very clean. I’d contact this property again if we return to Vietri.
