I booked one night for July through Booking.com back in February, but the host later cancelled, saying it was due to “overbooking.” That’s despite Booking.com reservations apparently being legally binding contracts. This is a very poor way to run a business, and I find the host’s conduct dishonest. The property still appears available on other platforms, at a higher price, of course.

After a pleasant walk, this is a nice place to stop for a snack. It’s near Piazza Ducale, with friendly staff and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The hot chocolate was excellent, and the cookies and pastries were delicious.

For a three-night stay for two, we got just two coffees, though there was no breakfast. The lighting and shower towels could use some attention too. It was nice overall, but a little expensive for the time of year.

Right in the center, with the beautiful Piazza Ducale nearby. The place itself is lovely, and the owner was very kind.

The location is great, but the price feels too high for the services they do, or don’t, provide.
