We only spent a night at Villa Princi, but it was just what we’d hoped for. Even with our very late arrival, the booking, directions to the room, and service on site all went smoothly, and we got plenty of help. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Breakfast was very good, and the service was efficient and polite. A lovely garden and views of the Messina Straits make the place special. It’s well placed for seeing the area or for a stopover, and our dog liked it too. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The host made it feel like I was staying at a friend’s place, with helpful dining suggestions, tips on where to find good olive oil, and nice pastries. She could also provide eggs if requested. Breakfast suited me perfectly. For almost two weeks, Villa Princi was a peaceful, clean, comfortable base for exploring Calabria and Sicily. I even spent my first five days driving around Sicily. It was easy to get around, and the room had everything I needed for sleeping, showering, and breakfast. I spent my days chasing pasta, wine, peppers, and granita around the region. Scilla was my favorite, just 20 minutes away, and Reggio was also 20 minutes away. I couldn’t have picked a better place and would stay again without hesitation, and probably will.

Princi itself is a nice place, with a great terrace and lovely views from the rooms. We walked there from the ferry in 20 minutes, through streets full of garbage and a dead cat that seemed to have been left baking in the sun for days. It’s the best accommodation in a town with absolutely no charm.

I was passing through on my way to Sicily and stayed a night. The owner kindly offered me a beautiful annex, and the breakfast was five-star. It’s very close to the port, so I’ll probably make it my regular stop on future trips. Thank you so much.

This beautiful villa has a view over the strait and sits in a quiet area, while still making it easy to reach all the local places. The staff were wonderful and the rooms welcoming. Great value for the price. If you’re looking to relax, this is the place.
