Agriturismo La Ramera

Davide is a fantastic host, always around when needed and full of useful tips for places to visit, restaurants and excursions. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend it. The agriturismo has just four apartments, a little outside the village in a very quiet spot. There are two pools, a hot tub and a big garden with barbecue facilities. Our apartment was really well equipped, with a smart TV, two bathrooms and a spacious eat-in kitchen, plenty of kitchenware and a dishwasher. Thank you!

The sandy beach is about 15 minutes away by car, and the pebble beach takes 25. Each apartment has a terrace and its own stone BBQ, plus there's a covered terrace upstairs for a comfortable barbecue when you're with several families. The house is divided into apartments for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people. The enclosed grounds have two pools, a jacuzzi, sunbeds and comfy lounge chairs. Kitchens come with a fridge and freezer compartment, an oven and a dishwasher. Lovely agriturismo.

Villanova d Albenga is a pretty town with plenty of original buildings and shops for everyday needs. The mountain scenery is lovely, with several shaded walking paths, and the pools are perfect. Our rooms were large and clean, the beds good, and the kitchens fully equipped. Each apartment also has a shady outdoor sitting area and barbecue spot. The host was friendly and helpful, and speaks fluent English. Garlenda has golf, horse riding and a small airfield, though we didn't try those. You'll need a car to get to the nearby sea.

We came away feeling rested. It's peaceful and surrounded by nature, though towns and the sea are only minutes away. There are pools with loungers and umbrellas, garden canopies with tables, and a barbecue area for each room. Davide, the owner, kept everything very clean and cared for. His warm hospitality and helpfulness made our stay at La Ramera really special. We'll definitely come back, thank you!! Marta and Manuel
