We first stayed at Casa Miriam last year, and were so pleased with it that we came back this year. My husband is a geologist, and we're both fascinated by Sardinia's geology, especially places in the southeast near Villaputzu. We didn't realize what a lucky choice Casa Miriam would be. The apartment was spacious, airy, clean, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Good supermarkets were a short drive away. But Walter and Miriam made the biggest difference. Walter knows the area and geology extremely well, and shared detailed maps that were essential for the work we were doing. Miriam brought us thoughtful treats like cake, baked fish, and fried aubergine. They were always helpful without ever intruding. They even lent John a guitar and gave us both bikes to ride the 4km to the nearest beach, close to Porto Corallo, where we swam and snorkelled each evening. It's a lovely beach for anyone who likes sunbathing. There are also great hikes a short drive away for people who enjoy getting their boots on. Many thanks to Walter and Miriam for a wonderful break. We're already looking forward to returning to Casa Miriam next year!

We had a lovely stay at casa Miriam. Walter speaks very good English, and Miriam is learning it too, as they both enjoy chatting with their visitors. The apartment was amazingly well equipped, with everything you might need, and we enjoyed using their bicycles. There's plenty of balcony space for eating outside, with lovely sea views. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The terrace was fantastic, and we ate all our meals out there. The two-bedroom apartment was just outside of villaputzu, only a few minutes from the village and the beaches, which were incredible. Walter was really nice, waited for us, and explained everything we needed to know. Since we arrived late, he even got us some freshfruit and water. He speaks English too, which was a plus. The apartment was perfect, five stars overall!

This is the kind of place that makes a holiday. The property was so comfortable we wanted to stay in, and the balcony was just as inviting, with views of the water and countryside. Walter and Miriam were exceptional hosts, always there to help. I loved feeling like I was among SARDIS. Grazie del cuore.

The location made it easy to get to heavenly beaches, and we had a wonderful stay in July with our 3-year-old daughter. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with a big terrace that was lovely for breakfast and dinner and caught a pleasant breeze. It stayed cool inside, so we slept really well. Our daughter fell in love with the owners.
