Avoid this place. Our room was dirty, dark, poorly maintained, and smelled of mold. There were mosquitoes everywhere and no window screens, so we couldn’t open the windows or relax by the pool without risking dozens of bites for the kids. The location and friendly staff were the only good parts, and that wasn’t enough for the price. The photos show the dirty cupboards and dishes, and mold in the fridge. The fridge in our first room didn’t work, so we were moved to another. The smell there was less bad, but our clothes still smelled after being kept in the wardrobe. For the first time ever, we changed hotels even though we still had one prepaid night left.

The pool was handy on windy days, and our stay included a sunbed and umbrella at the beach. We weren’t right by the beach or in town, but both were an easy stroll away, which made the location worthwhile. Just right for a couple of Australians in their fifties.

The room was nice and had a small kitchen, though we had to buy our own dish soap and towels. The main drawback was the noise: the walls let everything through, the rubbish truck came around 7 each morning, and a generator on our balcony switched on at random during the night. Otherwise, it’s a pleasant hotel in a good spot. The beach is about a 12-minute walk, with a private area for hotel guests and sunbeds and umbrellas. The town’s restaurants and shops are also within walking distance.

The beach was clean and well organized, and the pool was nice too. The lifeguard was lovely and played with the kids. The staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist.

The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and the pool is one of the best I’ve seen. The owner speaks fluent English, and the hospitality and food were absolutely fantastic.
