Simone was a brilliant host, and I really appreciated the packed breakfast/lunch for an early start. He knows the local wildlife guides and can point you towards good spots or people to guide you. The B&B is a comfortable, quiet place to rest after a tough day, with some really nice restaurants within walking distance. It's also ideally placed for lots of good hiking trails and wildlife watching. We had a brilliant stay, and I highly recommend it as a base for exploring on foot.

We came away feeling we'd found a real escape from city life. The mountains around the village are remote and wild, and deer even wander through the streets. Simone was helpful with advice and kept us well informed about check-in, parking and things to do. Breakfast is ordered the night before to avoid waste, and the homemade digestifs were a lovely extra. A friendly cat lives outside, too. Such a lovely little B&B.

We had a really restful stay, with a few good restaurants an easy walk away. Simone was a great host, and breakfast was lovely, especially the cakes. We were in Room 2, which has a big balcony and fantastic mountain views.

We spent three nights here and would happily come back. The breakfast setup, where you order just what you want, is a thoughtful way to avoid waste, and the food and snacks were healthy, tasty and high quality. Simone was a lovely host and gave us great suggestions. One led us to a wonderful guided hike with Alessandro. The place felt so homey.

Simone speaks English really well, which helped given how little Italian we know. We had plenty of parking, and there was even a covered shed for our bicycles. Breakfast came with homemade jam and cake, plus savoury options, and the coffee was excellent. The neighbourhood is peaceful, yet a five-minute walk gets you to a bar with a good craft beer selection, a park where you can see deer, and a VERY good pizza restaurant. A wonderfully cozy place.
