Cosmo Hotel Torri

I enjoyed my two weeks at Cosmo as a business traveler. The room was cozy, quiet at night, and easy to work from, with a desk, two chairs, and free Wi-Fi. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and most spoke English, which mattered since I speak no Italian. The shopping mall and several restaurants right next door were convenient. Hot water in the shower was always available, which I appreciated in winter. The air conditioning was turned off at some point overnight, and I woke up a few times because I wasn’t used to the weather. I also found it odd that drinking water was only supplied on the first day, and there was no kettle or tea or coffee in the room. The nearby mall made it easy to get water, and they let you keep things in the fridge. The meals were good, but breakfast could have had more variety. Over a longer stay, meals can get repetitive. I liked that they made an effort to offer food with a more international range, which can help guests unfamiliar with local cuisine. In general, I had a good stay and would recommend it to people visiting Vimercate.

For a four-star hotel in Italy, the breakfast buffet was a real letdown. The staff there seemed distracted and weren’t welcoming. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need renovating.

The power outlet wouldn’t work with modern devices from outside Italy, and the rooms look like they’re from the 1990s. This place needs some renovation.

Cosmo Hotel is in a central spot, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and a shopping center and cinema about a five-minute walk away. The staff were lovely and the rooms clean. Breakfast was fine, typical European fare. I was impressed at how quickly they pressed my suit for a wedding the next day. A great hotel.
