Hotel Da Vinci

We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in the region. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast had plenty of options. There’s free parking and a restaurant in the hotel, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It’s in a great location, about 10-15 minutes from the center.

We stopped for just one night while travelling through Italy. The rooms were modern, nice, and clean, and the hotel has a pleasant restaurant. Breakfast was included and good, and parking was provided.

We stayed at Hotel Da Vinci Empoli for three nights, from July 9-11, for my niece’s wedding. About 100 of us came from around the world, since the couple chose it as their official hotel. It’s usually quiet, but our big group brought a lively feel and made it a bit loud. The hotel was decent and good value. The restaurant and bar were excellent, with delicious food, a nice atmosphere, and attentive staff. They close every day from 4 to 6 p.m., though, so you’ll need to go elsewhere if you’re hungry then. During the wedding celebration, it was inconvenient that we couldn’t get ice while the bar was closed. The hotel is fairly isolated, and you really need a car to get around. Taxis and Ubers were hard to find. Our room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed, plush towels, a TV, a minibar with water and sodas, and a safe. There was no coffee maker. The shower floor was extremely slippery, so we used a hand towel to get some grip. Electrical outlets were limited, and the air conditioning was okay, though not as cool as at hotels in Monterosso or Pisa. Wi-Fi stayed stable and worked well throughout the stay, parking was free, and there was an elevator. We didn’t notice ramps or other mobility support. Check-in and checkout were smooth, but reception service varied. Some staff were lovely and others less helpful. The small lobby is tastefully done in a modern style. Across the street there’s a shopping center with a charming coffee shop and great coffee and pastries, handy if you miss breakfast.

A cute little hotel in central Empoli. The front desk service was excellent, and the bar and restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The gym is small, and you need to reserve a space if you want to use it. Highly recommended.
