Our room had just been renovated and was very, very clean. The bathroom was brand new and spotless, too. The hotel is right in the middle of Vinci, within walking distance of the museum and lots of restaurants. Thanks to the gentleman who looked after us at check-in and the one who made our cappuccino in the morning. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Angelo cooked delicious meals with generous portions, and our players loved them. Our football team picked Hotel Alexandra for its trip, and Alessandra, Simone, and the whole staff welcomed us like old friends. The room was perfect for the kind of trip we were taking, though you shouldn’t expect five star amenities. What made the trip was the care and warmth we received. Thanks, Ale. We arrived as guests, you welcomed us as friends, and we’re leaving as family. See you again.

The location is fantastic, but the service was poor. Breakfast meant one small croissant and a coffee, really just ONE. If you ate another, they asked you to pay extra. They seemed to think it was fine to enter your room at 7:30 even when you were there, making a lot of noise. A very bad experience.

I’d give these people zero if I could. Neither receptionist seemed willing to smile, as if they’d forgotten how. They called me no vax and opened the windows while I was inside the restaurant area. Hospitality isn’t something you learn from school books. You either like working with people or you don’t. I’ll remember how unkind you were for a long time.

The hotel itself is very nice, but everything else was very bad. They seem to care only about money. Breakfast was tiny, and if you ate more than they thought you should, they charged extra.
