We rented the whole property, and everyone was very happy with it. The location in the Tuscan countryside is spectacular, with a private pool area overlooking hills, olive trees, and other wine farms. Although the buildings are old, everything is clean and well maintained. The staff and their food and event partners were committed to making our stay convenient. Paula spent about two hours making sure we had a good fire in the pizza oven so we could bake without any setbacks.

With more than 20 of us, we rented the entire villa. It worked brilliantly: everyone had their own apartment and kitchen, and we could all gather in the big shared spaces. We visited a lovely cafe up the hill each morning, and the quick, easy drive to Empoli made catching a train into Florence simple. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we'd gladly return. Just one small drawback, the mattresses are extremely hard.

The apartments are clean, air-conditioned, and tastefully furnished in Tuscan style, with fully equipped kitchens. Outside, there’s a picturesque garden, a pool, and a jacuzzi surrounded by olive groves. The views are jaw-dropping, and the place feels away from the crowds while still being close to major towns and cities for sightseeing. A wonderful spot for a proper Tuscan holiday. Heaven!

Podere Jana was our holiday spot in 2015, when we first found it through an ad, and we came back in 2021. The high standard and very clean pool were a pleasant surprise the first time, and everything was still fantastic on our return. The apartments are simple but well equipped, quiet, and never too crowded or noisy. Both the apartments and pool area are super clean. The crew are lovely and respond to guests' wishes right away. Property administrator Gianluca also provides useful, thorough information about local attractions, which is a great bonus. Many wonderful places are nearby, including Florence, Siena, Lucca, Voterra, and San Gimignano. This time we also discovered San Miniato, a small, fantastic medieval town in the heart of Tuscany, just 15 minutes away. It had delicious food, beautiful medieval architecture, and hardly any tourists. Podere Jana was our second holiday here, but it won't be our last.
