Breakfast on Sunday was supposed to run until 10, but when we arrived at 7:30 the tables weren't set. We had to fetch our own cutlery and napkins, and the buffet was almost empty, with canned fruit and stale bread. The rooms are old and smell as if someone died in them. You also have to run the water for 15 minutes before it gets lukewarm. Horrible experience.

We stayed one night here on our way to Italy. The room was clean and had a great view, and the restaurant was good. The hotel itself was okay. Breakfast wasn't so good: I think they had a busy morning and hadn't replenished things, so there was no bread or juice.

It's a clean, warm place within walking distance of the centre and stations. There's no elevator, but the people were nice and helped us with our bag.

Don't go for evening pizza unless you've got plenty of time. We waited an hour for ours, which has never happened to me before, in Italy of all places. The staff seemed highly incompetent. The only men working really hard were the pizzaioli, and the pizza itself was okay. Don't expect Bella Italia.

The restaurant serves delicious local food, and the staff are friendly. It's a beautiful place and dog-friendly, though there's an extra cleaning fee. The city centre is about a 10-minute walk away.
