The bed was incredibly comfortable, and although the bathroom was a little small, it worked fine. Our room was bright, clean, and welcoming. To reach it, you pass through a spacious courtyard and a beautiful staircase, then go up a smaller wooden staircase with a lovely scent. The accommodation is warm and fragrant, right in the center of Viterbo. I had a wonderful stay, and appreciated the kind welcome.

Chiara was so welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. The spotless Wilbur Smith room and bathrooms are in a very characteristic building in medieval central Viterbo. I highly recommend this B&B.

On Saturdays, the little restaurants in the neighborhood make it very noisy, so I’d avoid staying then. If you do go that day, book dinner ahead or you may not find a table. This lovely B&B is tucked down an alley in San Pellegrino, the oldest and most beautiful neighborhood in Viterbo. It’s in an old building, with clean, spacious rooms that are tastefully furnished. The bathroom is small but functional.

The owners were genuinely helpful, and breakfast was excellent. There are books everywhere, which I loved, and the clean, comfortable rooms have every comfort. The central spot in Viterbo is ideal for seeing the medieval town and its museums on foot.
