Victoria at reception was lovely, and the location itself was good, though the directions made the place almost impossible to find. The room was okay, but its broken door locked us inside twice. We had to call the owner because that was our only way out, and she was impatient and rude when we asked for help. She also told us to lock ourselves in at night because “black people” might try to get in. The owner came across as eccentric at best and, at worst, incredibly rude and racist, verging on abusive. Breakfast was stale fruit and pastries, plus warm yogurt. After 15 minutes at the table, the owner asked us to leave because there wasn't enough room for her other guests in the small breakfast room. I would NOT recommend this place.

The views from the windows were amazing, and our room was spacious and had AC. Parking was great, though I'd avoid driving there in a big car. We were grateful to the staff, who were ready to help with anything. Viktoria even waited up when we got lost in the narrow medieval streets. In the heart of Viterbo, the location is hard to beat, and the friendly service made us feel like family. Senora Krystyna, who manages this medieval hotel, and Sra. Kristina made us feel so welcome. Thanks so much to Sra. Krisina and Viktoria!
