The room was at least well heated, but that was the only good thing. There were three flights of stairs, which nobody mentioned when I booked, and cleanliness was nonexistent. The furniture was made from discarded wooden slats and felt unsafe to touch. The upholstery was patched, so it couldn’t be cleaned properly, and there wasn’t even toilet paper in the bathroom. Absolutely not recommended.

Barbara was welcoming, and the B&B itself felt very inviting. It’s in the historic center, with parking just a few minutes away on foot. The room and bathroom were both very spacious, and the mattress was so comfortable. It even has an electric remote control, something I’d never tried before, and I really liked it. Highly recommend!

The small room has a mezzanine, so moving around upright was difficult, though there was a decent amount of space overall. This charming B&B is in Viterbo’s historic center, in an area you can’t reach by car, which wasn’t made clear when we booked. The location is quaint but hard to find, and parking is practically impossible. If you’re not too fussy, you might be happy here. 🙂
