My wife and I spent several nights here in October. The hosts were the real highlight: like other reviewers have mentioned, they went out of their way to help with anything they could. The building is incredible, and the location couldn't be better. I highly recommend the place and will come back every time I'm in Viterbo!

The room and facilities were fine, and I have no complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and it's an easy walk to the beautiful city. A very pleasant stay.

Il Gallo Nero in Viterbo was a comfortable, charming home away from home, and my stay was unforgettable. The hosts made such an effort to make my visit special. The hostess even drove me to the station and helped me figure out the train and bus options for getting to Rome. Their hospitality and helpfulness were beyond compare. I highly recommend Il Gallo Nero!

The old city is easy to explore from this B&B, which sits inside the city walls in a historic building. We stayed three nights and were very satisfied. Our clean, comfortable room had two lovely balcony windows and a comfortable bed, and the bathroom amenities lived up to their name. Breakfast offered a full choice of sweet and savory food. The owner was very kind and helpful. Because of the restricted traffic zone, you can't park there, but free public parking is only a few minutes away. Top marks, highly recommended.
