Grilling a delicious meal outside gave our family a lovely evening together. The room has a beautiful atmosphere and two views, and made for a restorative afternoon nap. Surrounded by greenery and equipped with every comfort, the place feels poetic. Taking a bath in that lovely setting felt like a caress to the heart.

We spent three weeks with Rafaella and Fabrizio and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house has a private pool and everything you need, with the kind of well-equipped feel that comes from a family having truly lived there. There’s plenty for children too, including a crib, highchair, and separate children’s pool. The location makes day trips easy, or you can simply drive to Lake Bolsena and relax. The town is tiny and tranquil, but has a small, well-stocked supermarket with a surprising range of things. We’ll be back, and communication was easy since Fabrizio speaks good English.
