PALAZZO UBERTINI Urban Suites

Being inside the walls made it easy to get around to the sights and restaurants, and the location was good. Driving there takes some care, though: the ZTL rules and confusing navigation can make it tricky, and the narrow roads are no place for a big car. Our room was very clean, tidy, and well equipped, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch. They were attentive and extremely helpful, and made the whole experience wonderful. I’d definitely come back. Thanks to everyone on staff.

Manuela was a marvelous host. She found restaurants for us and gave us great advice for our visit. The hotel is chic and in a superb location, with easy, free parking nearby. The old building has been renovated beautifully in a fully modern style, and the rooms feel brand new and gorgeous. I totally recommend it.

The carved stone palazzo and modern luxury work beautifully together, and everything felt carefully done to a five star standard. It was a surprise to find such a new luxury hotel in an old, traditional setting, especially at a modest price, perhaps while it’s still building a reputation. Go ahead and book. Parking is limited, though, so be careful if you have a large car.

The rooms are bright, airy, spacious, and designed for modern travellers, with comfortable beds, a mini kitchen, and a coffee maker. The bathroom has plenty of shelf space and a strong shower. Staff at the front desk are true professionals, always ready to answer questions with a smile and confidence. The Palazzo is right downtown, close on foot to Viterbo’s attractions. Parking can be difficult, but there’s plenty of free municipal parking by the city walls, with free elevators up and down. The thermal baths are a short drive away. There’s free high-speed Wi-Fi too.
